About Pehraaw
Every dream has a fabric—and ours was woven at home.
Pehraaw began in June 2022, born from a simple conviction: ethnic wear shouldn't force you to choose between looking beautiful and feeling free. Founded by a homemaker who knew both the weight of tradition and the need for ease, what started as handcrafted pieces shared through Instagram has grown into a brand for women who refuse compromise.
The name comes from Urdu—Pehraaw means "outfit." But to us, it's more than what you wear. It's how you move through your mornings, your meetings, your milestones. It's what holds you as you navigate boardrooms and family gatherings, Tuesday routines and Saturday weddings.
We design for women in their mid-20s to mid-40s who want to look intentional without feeling restricted. Because your wardrobe should work as hard as you do—and feel effortless while doing it.
Two Collections, One Philosophy
Everyday Ethnic Wear is crafted for real life. Budget-friendly pieces in breathable cotton, mulmul, and modal that take you from morning chai to evening plans without a second thought. Ready-to-wear staples that don't demand special occasions or special care—just women living full lives.
Premium Made-to-Order is where heritage meets artistry. Each piece is created only after you order it—featuring traditional embroidery, regional weaves, and wedding ensembles in muslin and georgette. Depending on the intricacy, these take 15 days to a month. Because some things can't be rushed.
We collaborate directly with artisan communities preserving techniques like Lucknowi Chikan, Paithani, Maheshwari, Patola, and Pochampalli weaves—crafts passed down through generations, now shaped into contemporary silhouettes. This isn't fast fashion. It's slow luxury, made by hands that treat each stitch as legacy.
What Sets Us Apart
Most brands offer either affordability or artisan quality. Pehraaw offers both.
Our daily wear doesn't burden your budget. Our premium pieces don't compromise on craft. We work with ethical vendors and skilled artisans, ensuring that fair pricing never means cutting corners on fabric or integrity.
Our Foundation

The Promise
Pehraaw isn't just clothing. It's how you carry your story—whether in a client presentation or at a cousin's mehendi. As we grow beyond our home-based roots, one thing remains unchanged:
Every woman deserves to feel both comfortable and confident, without having to choose.
Elegance shouldn't be exhausting.
Quality shouldn't be out of reach.
And your outfit should never be the hardest part of your day.
